Imho all the benefits of modified Windows versions are homeopathic. They may lead to single digit improvements in synthetical benchmarks out of the box (if that). As soon as you add your Software and a single auto-starting Epic Launcher or what ever, those benefits fanish into nothingness. If you have a Browser open while gaming, it will consume an order of magnitude more performance than any of those mods can save you.
With that said, i'm all for "minimizing" Windows. I just do it myself with builtin tools. Install Windows 11, set all the telemetry to "no" or "minimal", Update completely, Install all your Drivers. After that, Unpin and Uninstall everything from the startmenu that you don't want or need. Then, install winget. With winget list you can see what's installed and winget uninstall somepackage you can get rid of most of the stuff. That way i throw out the XBox stuff, Music player, Feedbackhub etc. All the things not directly uninstallable through the startmenu.
That's it. Minimal Windows 11. Don't f*ck around with services you don't know and don't write BS into the registry where you don't know what it does. At best it does nothing, at worst it makes your PC Crap itself on Updates.
You can now go and configure Windows Update to hold back updates as long as possible if you want through the settings. But the path to a working, fast and stable system is to keep it up to date and not install all the random crap software you don't need anyways. If you REALLY need to play with some stuff, spin up a Windows VM and test software in there. Keeps your base system clean and working well.
And after all of this, stop worrying about wether some random service whos name you can't pronounce is making fortnite run 0.64 FPS slower. The only thing that will make your stuff run noticably faster is faster hardware.
